Hello everyone!
Here we are week 8... who would have thought??
Most of you are doing really well with turning in assignments! Some of you I think may be having trouble.
If I didn't answer your email... I didn't get your work! I answer back to all emails.
Yoga today at 2:00. Today is the last time I am putting a button.... if you want to join in, you must sign up for the remind app.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend and a nice Mother's Day!! I saw the video you made!!! Yup! I cried! It was so nice.
This week we are moving on to the Measures of Central Tendency. They are Mean, Median and Mode. Today, we start with median. I intend to make a video for the topic.. but if you want to get started before I upload it....
Today is median... Median is the middle (like on a highway, the middle strip that separates the two sides of the highway is called the median.)
To find the median of a set of numbers you must first put them in numerical order. If you do not put the numbers in order, the middle value means nothing!
Once you put the numbers in order, you start at either end crossing of the pairs until you come to the middle number. (if there are an even amount of numbers, then you will be left with 2 numbers... add them together and divide by 2 to get the median.)

Today you will be calculating the mean of a set of numbers. The mean is the average. To calculate the mean: add all the numbers in the data set together, divide that sum by the amount of numbers in the set (count how many numbers in the data set). That is your mean.

Good morning...
Today you will be finding the mode of a set of numbers. The mode is the number that occurs Most Often. (It is easier if you put them in numerical order). You can have one or more modes, or you can have no mode.
Have a nice day and I will see you at office hours tomorrow. I have a game for us to try!

Today is the last installment of the mystery! Again it is a mixed sheet so read the directions!!
Starting next week, I will only be posting math assignments on Tuesday and Thursdays. You will be responsible to complete two math assignments per week.
If I do not answer your email.... I did not get your work. I will answer a string of emails only once... usually the last one. But I acknowledge every single piece of work I get. So if you do not get a return email.... I am not getting your work.
Have a great weekend!
